What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data, shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam.
Anonymized string, created from your email address (also called a hash), can be provided to the Gravatar service, to see if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy statement is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile photo is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with built-in location data included (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and retrieve any location data from website images.
If you leave a comment on our site, you can join, to save your name, email address and website in cookies. They are for your convenience, so you don't have to fill in your data again, when you leave another comment. These cookies will last one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie, to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and is discarded, when you close your browser.
When you enter, we will also set some cookies, to record your login information and selection on your screen. Login cookies last for two days, and cookies with on-screen options last for one year. If you select "Remember me", your entry will last two weeks. If you sign out, login cookies will be removed.
If you are editing or publishing an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not include personal data and simply indicates the identification number of the publication of the article, which you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites

Who do we share your data with?
How long we store your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are saved indefinitely. That is right, so that we can recognize and approve all subsequent comments automatically, instead of keeping them in the moderation queue.
For users, who register on our website (if any), we also store personal information, which they provide, in their profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
What rights do you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you may request to receive an exported file of personal data, which we hold for you, including all data, which you have provided to us. You may also request that we delete all personal data, which we hold for you. This does not include data, which we are obliged to keep administrative, legal or protective purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitors' comments can be checked through an automated spam detection service.
